(Day 19)
The bus ride to Kong Lo village was long. We left at 10:00 am and arrived around 6:00 pm. We all listened to various podcasts during the trip. The Nerdist has become a favorite podcast. It contains lots of swearing, but there are some great interviews of some very interesting famous celebrities. It was actually a very enjoyable ride.
Kong Lo village has been my favorite place so far. It is tiny, and there hardly any other backpackers. The people were ultra nice, and the food was all made right in the family kitchens. Our guesthouses were some of the least expensive we've had yet, but also some of the nicest. I absolutely adore this place.
